40-SECOND OAT MILK:

INGREDIENTS

1 c GF rolled oats

3 c cold water

Pinch sea salt

1 tsp pure vanilla powder or extract

Pinch cinnamon

2 tbsp maple syrup

Optional: add cocoa or cacao powder for chocolate milk

MAKE IT

  1. Blend the oats and filtered water in a high-speed blender for 30-40s. The milk should look creamy and white. Don’t over blend, or you’ll end up with slimy milk!

      2. Place a fine mesh strainer over a large bowl. Pour the oat milk through the strainer twice. Don’t press on the pulp, or you’ll get slimy milk.            Discard the pulp.

      3. Store in the refrigerator in an air-tight container for up to 5 days. Super fine oats (sediment) may separate from liquid. I just shake mine              before using because I don’t mind them, but if you do then don’t shake the bottle, and pour from the top so the sediment stays at the                      bottom.
