Bella Hadid Skin Glow Smoothie (copycat)

The gut-skin axis is a bidirectional relationship between the gut microbiome and skin health. Up to 80% of the immune system is housed in the gut, which communicates with skin microbiota to prevent overgrowth of opportunistic bugs. When that communication is altered, chronic inflammation, dermatitis and more may occur

Supporting a diverse microbiome is a great way to tend to both skin and gut health, and get your glow back. It takes about 3 months to reset the microbiome (depending on how much dysbiosis is present.

Helpful ways to support the gut include a high fiber diet, soil-based probiotics, fermented foods, and omega-3s.

This smoothie is a great way to nourish both the gut and skin!
