Butterscotch Green Apple, 3 Ways (low histamine)

INGREDIENTS

1 c vegan butter

1 c coco sugar

1 tbsp coco butter

1 tsp vanilla powder (powder to keep it low histamine, but ok to use vanilla extract if tolerated)

Pinch of sea salt

10 tbsp oat milk

🥥Toppings: blanched almonds, pistachios, shredded coco

MAKE IT

1. On medium heat, add all above ingredients and stir constantly until all ingredients are fully combined. Let it simmer for a few minutes, and remove from heat.

2. Drizzle on everything. It’ll thicken as it cools, so don’t forget to warm it before enjoying.

**GF/DF/LOW HISTAMINE (I followed mastcell360 low histamine foods list very strictly initially, then added some foods from the SIGHI list as I began to tolerate more foods, all under the care of a dietitian. A low histamine diet is restrictive and not meant to be followed long-term, as nutrient deficiencies may develop).**
