Garlic Noodles (low histamine)

Want to make delicious garlic noodles that are good for your gut? These noodles are the answer. Gut-healing ghee is the key to this recipe. They’re perfect on their own, or paired with almost any veggie or meat dish. This quick recipe has only 7 real food ingredients, and is ready in 20 minutes or less.

INGREDIENTS

½ box @jovialfoods GF Spaghetti

Sea salt, garlic powder, and crushed pink peppercorns-to taste

Handful chopped herbs (I love to use basil, but I was out so I used kale microgreens)

1-2 tbsp dairy-free butter

1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

MAKE IT

1. Cook @jovialfoods spaghetti al dente, per the instructions on the box.

2. Set aside 5 tbsp pasta water, then drain pasta and set pasta aside.

3. In a non-stick pan, on medium heat, add the drained pasta and pasta water.

4. Add black pepper, garlic powder, sea salt, and mix. Cook for about 5ish minutes, or until the pasta water has been absorbed and the noodles are sticky. Stir frequently.

5. Remove from heat.

6. Add dairy-free butter and olive oil.

7. Add chopped basil/any other herb you love (optional), and serve!

**GF/DF/LOW-HISTAMINE (I followed mastcell360 low histamine foods list very strictly initially, then added some foods from the SIGHI list as I began to tolerate more foods, all under the care of a dietitian. A low histamine diet is restrictive and not meant to be followed long-term, as nutrient deficiencies may develop.)**
