How to Make a Breakfast Tostada (low histamine)

Starting the morning with this festive breakfast tostada, because the holidays call for this level of cheer 😆:)

❤️ @onanafoods GF Plantain tortilla, fried in @chosenfoods Avocado Oil until crispy

❤️ Homemade Instant Pot Black Beans: pressure-cooked to eliminate most lectins (easier to digest). Seasoned with cumin, an anti-inflammatory that fights bacteria and parasites.

❤️ @vitalfarms Organic Pasture-raised Egg fried with @spectrumorganic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

❤️ @goodplanetfoods Mozzarella (free from common allergens, but not labeled low histamine) – omit if not tolerated

❤️ Sauce of your choice: I used my homemade Pistachio Pesto for a twist, but also love my Creamy Cilantro Sauce (both on the blog) with tostadas.

❤️ Pomegranate seeds all over for a burst of flavor

That’s it! This tostada is great for breakfast, but also hits the spot for lunch or din.
