Immune-boosting Kale (low histamine)

🥗 Yesterday I shared my favorite immune-boosting foods, and this salad has 4 of them: red bells, kiwi, sunflower seeds, and garlic.

🍂It’s bright, packs so many flavors, and lots of crunch. So happy fall salad szn is here!

🍐If you aren’t a fan of kale, sub with any greens you love. Fresh currants or Asian pears are a great sub for bell peppers in this salad.

MAKE IT

🥬Curly or dino kale (remove leaves from stems)–>massage a 🥣 of leaves with sea salt (until limp). Add 1 tbsp @coombsmaple syrup, and toss. Add olive oil, to taste. Optional: sprinkle of garlic powder and lime zest.

❤️Chopped red, yellow, orange bells (remove stems/seeds)

@jovialfoods GF Penne Pasta

🥝Chopped kiwi

🌻Sunflower seeds

🧀Optional: @violife_foods Just Like Parmesan ⬇️ (top allergen-free, dairy-free, but not labeled low histamine-enjoy if tolerated)

**❤️ the clean ingredients: Filtered Water, Potato & Rice Starch, Food Starch-Modified (Potato), Coconut Oil, Salt (Sea Salt), Rice Protein, Parmezan Flavor (Vegan Sources), Olive Extract, Beta Carotene (Color), Vitamin B12**

**GF/DF/LOW HISTAMINE (I followed mastcell360 low histamine foods list very strictly initially, then added some foods from the SIGHI list as I began to tolerate more foods, all under the care of a dietitian. A low histamine diet is restrictive and not meant to be followed long-term, as nutrient deficiencies may develop).**
