Mango Kiwi Pico de Gallo (low histamine)

This pico is delicious with chips or fish tacos!

Celebrating Cinco de Mayo the rest of the week:).

😉Not being able to eat tomatoes or avocados forces you to get creative.

🌿This pico is a great combo of sweet, salty, and sour. You’ll need just 6 ingredients to make it: ripe mango and kiwi, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, and sea salt (+cumin is optional). Top it with any berry you love. I chose blackberries. So good! Get some chips, and start dipping;).

🌮I love pairing this pico with @sietefoods GF Taco Shells (broken up to sub chips), because they’re tasty and the ingredients are👌🏽.

INGREDIENTS

2 ripe mangoes, cubed

2-3 ripe kiwis, chopped into small chunks

¼ red onion, finely diced

½ tsp lime juice

Small handful of cilantro, finely diced

Sea salt, to taste

Optional: cumin, to taste

MAKE IT

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, and season. Serve chilled.

**GF/DF/LOW-HISTAMINE (I followed mastcell360 low histamine foods list very strictly initially, then added some foods from the SIGHI list as I began to tolerate more foods, all under the care of a dietitian. A low histamine diet is restrictive and not meant to be followed long-term, as nutrient deficiencies may develop.)**
