This simple and healthy rice dish is cooked in bone broth, salt, and a little bit of DF butter. Add frozen veggies, and enjoy! This recipe is kid-approved too (well, except for the green beans;)!

1 c long-grain rice
2 c chicken bone broth
1 tsp sea salt, to taste
1 yellow onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp DF butter
Optional: squeeze of lime (once done cooking)
Directions
Add extra virgin olive oil to a medium pot, on medium heat. Once oil is hot, add onions and cook (stirring often). Once onions are translucent, add rice and cook until rice is golden.
Add chicken bone broth, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then turn down heat to low, add butter, cover, and cook for 20 minutes. Adjust salt if necessary, and fluff with a fork.
