Pistachio Pesto Blackberry Pizza

🍕This pizza is one of my favorite quick meals. I rely on Simple Mills GF Almond Flour Pizza Dough to do the heavy lifting (makes 2 small pizzas). It’s the cleanest flour I’ve been able to find: almond flour, arrowroot, flax meal, cauliflower, baking soda, organic oregano, cream of tartar, and organic garlic. Just follow the instructions on the box: add olive oil and water. The third ingredient it calls for is vinegar, but I sub it with pomegranate juice. I do well with these ingredients, but if you’d rather make your own crust, please check out @low.histamine.high.allergy pizza crust, which I love as well.:)

🌱Now grab some blackberries, and make this delicious pistachio pesto:

INGREDIENTS (enough for two small pizzas)

🌿2¾-3 c fresh basil

💚Juice of half lime (½ tsp lime juice is low histamine per mastcell360.com, so half of this pesto is what I have as a serving)

🧂Sea salt, to taste

🧄2-3 garlic cloves (3 for that garlicky & spicy kick)

💚⅓ c pistachios (depending on how thick you want it)

🏺½ c extra virgin olive oil + a drizzle

MAKE IT

  1. Blend all ingredients in the food processor until desired consistency. If too dry, add another drizzle of olive oil

 

**Pizza crust: normally I stick to fresh oregano, but I’ve done well with this flour.**
