Vegan Hemp Ranch Dressing (low histamine)

Pair this dressing with a salad, and don’t forget to add protein. It’s also perfect for dipping (think chicken nuggets).

Creamy vegan ranch is my fave dipping sauce. Check out my recipe. It’s delicious, and easy to make!

Pro-tip: My favorite ingredient to add to sauces/dressings to increase their creamy factor? Olive oil!

¼-½ tsp garlic powder, to taste

¼-½ tsp onion powder, to taste

¼-½ tsp sea salt, to taste

½ c hemp hearts: @manitobaharvest

9 tbsp water (depending on consistency you want). Go slow and add little by little, blend, and taste.

2 drizzles of extra virgin olive oil

Optional: ¼ tsp sweet paprika, to taste

  1. Blend all ingredients, except water and olive oil, in the food processor.
  2. Add water, and blend. Then add olive oil, and blend for just a couple of seconds. Taste and adjust seasoning, if necessary. Top with crushed pink peppercorns (optional).

😋That’s it, I’m “Ranchin'” everything:)

**GF/DF/LOW HISTAMINE (I followed mastcell360 low histamine foods list very strictly initially, then added some foods from the SIGHI list as I began to tolerate more foods, all under the care of a dietitian. A low histamine diet is restrictive and not meant to be followed long-term, as nutrient deficiencies may develop).**
