Functional Nutrition Breakdown

  • Chia seeds are packed with fiber, omega-3s, and plant-based protein. Just 2 tbsp provides ⅓ of your daily fiber intake. They promote regularity, stabilize blood sugar, keep you full without feeling heavy, and feed beneficial gut bacteria which creates short-chain fatty acids that reduce inflammation and help the immune system function optimally. Make sure you drink enough water as you increase fiber intake.
  • Almond milk makes it creamy and keeps it dairy free. Use any non-dairy milk you like.
  • Vanilla and sea salt give it that warm, slightly sweet flavor. The pinch of salt brings it all together.
  • Optional honey or maple syrup gives you a little extra sweetness if you want it.
  • Toppings like peanut butter, chopped dates, and crushed peanuts make it taste like a treat while still being balanced and blood sugar friendly.
