Sweet Potato Pie Smoothie

Who knew sweet potatoes add so much creaminess to a smoothie?! The fiber they contain nourishes the gut, keeps blood sugar levels stable, and keeps the tum feeling full longer. Win-winūüíó

*Crushed graham cracker and vegan marshmallow  aren’t nutrient-dense, but they bring me joy;)*

ūüć†All the flavors of the season, but make it a smoothie:

INGREDIENTS 

1 medium-large sweet potato (Air fry or bake 425F x 40 min)

1 greenish banana

1 Medjool date 

1 c almond milk 

1 tbsp virgin coconut oil

1 tsp cashew or pecan butter 

1 teaspoon pure vanilla powder OR 1 scoop vanilla pea protein powder 

1 tbsp chia seeds 

1 tbsp hemp hearts 

¬Ĺ teaspoon ground cinnamon, to taste¬†

Pinch of nutmeg

Ginger ice cube (on the blog) or a tiny chunk of fresh ginger 

Optional: crushed graham cracker, marshmallow 

MAKE IT

1. Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender. Toppings are optional.
