Gut-Healthy Cashew Crema

Cashews deliver prebiotics and polyphenols to feed good gut bugs and decrease inflammation, and they make for the creamiest and tangiest sauce. Think sour cream, but dairy-free. Win-win!

Ingredients

  • 1 c cashews (soak in hot water for 30 minutes, then discard water)

  • 1 lemon, juice

  • 1 lime, juice

  • 3/4 c filtered water

  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp sea salt, to taste

Directions

  • Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until creamy smooth.
