Tahini Maple Dressing (low histamine)

Pair this with your favorite salad. Don’t forget to add protein to it (chickpeas, chicken, etc).

This creamy tahini maple dressing is nutty, sweet, and garlicky all at the same time. It was amazing on the veggie and pasta salad I had for lunch. You’ll need only a handful of ingredients to make it. Throw it all in a food processor, and you’re done!

INGREDIENTS

2 tbsp tahini

3-4 tbsp maple syrup, to taste

4 tbsp olive oil

Pinch sea salt and pure vanilla powder, to taste

½ tbsp warm water to thin

Optional: 1 garlic clove, smashed and ½ tsp lime juice

PASTA

🥗I cooked @jovialfoods GF Penne Pasta per instructions on box, and tossed it in extra virgin olive oil and sea salt. I topped it with fresh chopped basil, sweet mini bell peppers, and hemp hearts. So delicious! Once refrigerated, add a little water, and blend again before enjoying.

**GF/DF/LOW HISTAMINE (I followed mastcell360 low histamine foods list very strictly initially, then added some foods from the SIGHI list as I began to tolerate more foods, all under the care of a dietitian. A low histamine diet is restrictive and not meant to be followed long-term, as nutrient deficiencies may develop).**
